Justice G. Chandraiah (Honorary Chairman, ECIF)

Gunda Chandriah MA LLM was born on 10th May 1954 . He was enrolled as the advocate in 6th Nov 1980. He practiced for 24 years in High court of AP in civil, constitutional, labor and service matter, He specializes in service matters. He worked as government pleader for department of social welfare 25.2.1991 to 3.6.1992 in Panchayath Raj and Rural Development from 4.6.1992 to Dec 1995.He worked for the department of finance and labor employment and training from 2nd June 1999 to Dec 2000, and Prohibition and Excise Department from Jan 2001 to Nov 2002. He was standing counsel for AP scheduled caste cooperative finance corporation ltd, during 1997 to 1998 for Andhra Pradesh Residential education Institutional society during 1993 -2003, for Andhra Pradesh Municipality (TA) during 1996-1998, for Andhra Pradesh study circle and Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions society from 1999. He was appointed as additional judge of the AP High court on May 26th 2005 and appointed as permanent judge on Feb 20th 2006.

Justice Chandraiah served as a judge after being elevated to the post from the Bar. He enrolled as an advocate on November 6, 1980 and was elevated as Additional Judge of the AP High Court on May 26, 2005. He became a permanent judge on February 20, 2006.

Dr. C N Gopinatha Reddy, IPS DGP Prisons (Retired) & (Chairman, ECIF)

He has worked and retired as the DGP of Prisons and correctional services department AP. Worked as Director in AP Police Academy at Hyderabad. He also served as IGP Law and order in AP at Vishakapatnam. Served as IGP, special protection force, Hyderabad, He also worked as DGP, Guntur range in AP, Also served as City Police Commissioner at Vizag.

He is the Bachelor degree holder of Science and law. Post graduate degree in Psychology and doctorate in Jaanapada Kalalu.

Born on 26th Mar 1952, he stood first in the AP State Public service commission and selected as RDO. He joined the IPS in the year 1980. He worked in the cities like Kurnool, Kadapa and Vizag as Commissioner of Police. During his tenure as the director of AP Police Academy, he trained 36,000 police officers. He was also responsible for preparing draft bill for establishing AP Police University. He also made proposal and a reason to establish National Prison Academy. He also widely travelled to many countries like USA, Canada, Australia and other countries.

In the year 2008 he won the President of India Police Medal.

Dr. S. AVULAPPA – MBBS., MCCP., DCCP., MIPHA., FCGP. (Vice Chairman, ECIF) Member in Diplomat and fellow of college of Chest Physicians of India, New Delhi.

The Gold medal was presented to him by the College of Chest Physicians of India at New Delhi On 23-8-1992 for his outstanding work done in rural areas. Member, Indian Public Health Association, Kolkota.Instrumental in getting 30 bed hospitals constructed at Kottur with the help of Dist Collector Muni Venkatappa IAS and got inaugurated by the then in charge Governor of Andhra Pradesh Justice Obul Reddy. On 01-07-2005, Received VYDYA SIROMANI AWARD from Megacity Kalavedika a voluntary and cultural organization of Hyderabad.On 26-02-2001 Received KRUSHI RATNA AWARD from Sri Alekhya Arts of Hyderabad. On 27-03-2005 Received a GOLD MEDAL & A LETTER OF APPRECIATION from Governor of Andhra Pradesh H.E. Surjit Singh Barnala for the excellent work done to A.P Redcross society. He was also associated with Rotary Clubs in various positions.

At present worked as a Senior Medical officer at HMRI (Health Management and Research Institution) from 06-08-2007 to 2011. Worked as a Superintendent Lions Club of Hyderabad Sadhuram Eye Hospital (LCHSEH), Gagan Mahal, Domalguda Hyderabad for Twelve years.

Dr T Hanumantha Rao. (Deputy Vice Chairman, ECIF)

Dr T Hanumantha Rao is the Physician and Dialectologist practicing since 1982. He is the founder of the Sri Ramakrishna Hospitals. Doctor is basically a service oriented person with several diabetic detection camps having organized at regular Intervals. Throughout the state and elsewhere he detected thousands of diabetic cases during those camps and given free medicines to the needy patients. Even now he runs a charity diabetic clinic on ever Saturday at his hospitals.

Dr T Hanumantha Rao is presently working as President for Vishwa Brahmana Doctors Association having 500 members and gives free medical consultancy and free medicines to the poor and needy people. He has associated with many charitable organizations.

Mandadi Krishna Reddy- Founder and Managing Trustee ECIF

Mandadi Krishna Reddy, who was born on Sri Rama Navami day, is a great Consumer and social activist and is a multi-faced personality. He is the man who started the first organized Chain of super markets in India under the charitable Trust. Besides he was also an author of 54 books and 200 stories, he has the distinction of delivering more than 10,000 speeches in various national and International forums. He also acted in 6 feature films. More than 500 of his interviews have been telecasted from various T.V.channels. He has visited 106 countries to learn and teach Consumer Movement, Retail Management and their cultural importance. Mr. Reddy is the Founder of INDIAN Grass Route level Consumer Movement and Retailers Forum of India (RFI) also acted as an adviser to various departments of Central & State Governments. He was the Chairman for the Indian Consumer apex body CCC (Consumer Coordination Council).

To create awareness in consumers, literally he was on the wheels of CHAITANYA RADHAM for 142 days continuously with 35 member cultural team and covered 1110 Mandals. Morning star and evening star witnessed the consumer awareness campaign which was first of its kind in India headed and funded by Mandadi.

Mandadi is not a man of mere-speeches. He has inspired by Mother Theresa in Kolkata in Nirmala Hruday. Mandadi is mainly known as consumer activist and expert Retail Consultant also of course as a Writer, poet and Actor. As an Philanthropist. He was constructed a temple in Tamilnadu. 138 books were dedicated to Mandadi.

He is the founder of the children film society. Under Mandadi’s leadership International Children film festival was conducted for the first time in A.P.

Mrs. Krishnaveni – (COO & Trustee, ECIF)

Qualification: MSW, B.Ed., (PhD) She has wide experience in village social service activities since young age. She has widely encouraged the women to join self-help groups and get benefited through government schemes. During her service she used to induce the groups, work for the welfare of bed ridden patients who are in death beds and also arranged for cremation services with honors. She is the active participant for temple festivities and also active donor for major functions and activities. She gave free education service to the school children for higher school sections at the village levels.

She worked with HIV patients and strived for their coping capabilities, ample social support to those patients and acting as bridge between NGO’s and the HIV patients. She also dealt with mentally challenged patients. Obsessive-compulsive disorder patients were well looked after and Schizophrenia patients and also neuro disorder elders were well looked after and she also dealt with patients having anti-social personality disorder by well understanding and coping with the patients.

She also lends her help for the Blind children who were totally blind and she learned Braille script and taught the children to that effect. She worked on their case studies, and she also worked for the old age homes and attended the elders by counseling them, attending the case work of the individual and group work of the elders concerned.

He is the founder of the children film society. Under Mandadi’s leadership International Children film festival was conducted for the first time in A.P.

Vemula Gouri Sankar Rao, B Com. BL(Trustee, ECIF)

Vemula Gouri Sankara Rao is a versatile personality in the field of judiciary. Born in the year 1959, he joined the AP Bar Council in the year 1984. He became the Bachelor of Laws in the year 1983 from Nagarjuna University, and done B Com from Hindu College, Guntur.

He is an expert in consumer related cases, and the 1st judgment on the AP State Consumer dispute Redress was won by him in the year 1983.

He is the Chairman of Confederation of all Telangana consumers’ organization (CATCO), He is Hon Chairman of Confederation of AP Consumers Organization (CAPCO), and He was the chairman of Palanadu Development Foundation. He was formerly the Gen Secretary of Bar Association of A P State consumers Dispute Redressal Commission.

He is writing number of article on Consumer matters in many newspapers and magazines. Also he appeared on several discussions telecast and interviewed by print and electronic media.
